I learned I like the cold by going to Amsterdam. It was rainy, expensive, and was a very gracious experience.

And if you couldn't tell from above they have tall, antique buildings full of intuition and experience. Like most places all over the world. But man, you learn so much just by looking.

If you didn't know Europeans are very healthy. You can walk somewhere within 10 minutes and be in a whole new city. They just walk, bike, or take the train. Which is probably why Europeans are so fit.

So when we saw bicycle garages instead of car garages it was kinda like a healthy reminder. Not only did I realize that I'd be nice and fit if I was as active as our fellow Hollanders & Romans, but I also realize that I don't own a bicycle and need to change that. Now you would have thought that the least we would do is ride around town and get a workout of something but no. We took the train to downtown and walked around everywhere. And when we were tired, we went on a tour boat and learned about monumental memorials like the Anne Frank house.

come to find out, I don't have an Anne Frank photo which I thought I did, so enjoy this photo from down the street of The Anne Frank Museum

I truly love cold rainy places. Amsterdam was just the place for rain.

And there is so much to see in such little distance. But when we had to travel far there were many different ways of transportation.

I don't have as many photos as I took due to removing them & putting them on a computer, but the photos I do have are oh so special & memorable

And the few people we talked to were so nice to help out some lost Americans & they taught us some easy sayings in their language.

Everywhere is so unique and has so much character, it is baffling how long the places have been here.
And this concludes the the shocking, appreciative, miraculous trip I had in Amsterdam, Holland. Short & few photos but so very special.
